A budget casual build for new players that's modern legal and attempts to highlight how reactive control works/wins.In particular, thermo-alchemist is the highlight of this build, as it doubles as an early blocker and a win condition. The other win conditions are damage through critters and faerie conclave, as well as direct burn damage (if necessary).I always enjoy highlighting electrolyze to new players, as it is a wonderful way to either ping weenies or shock the player while retaining tempo and material.And, of course, shoutout to my newfound favorite card, hard evidence, for being the blocker we deserve and retaining tempo and material, as well as activating thermo-alchemist.You can buy the deck, box, and sleeves for around 20 bucks, so it's a pretty good setup for new players to play around with control and get used to the mechanics.
