you could easily make this a two color deck if you cut out white. there are other ways to pay x and draw x cards for blue youd just miss out on the life gain, which doesnt seem too important for this deck. if you do def switch in 4 counterspell for the esence scatter and the negate, or do this anyways and imprint it into isochron scepter. also with niv, why not drop a curiousity and use that combo?

if your looking at milling there are much better options out there. tome scour, mind sculpt, memory sluice for cheap milling, and then archive trap and nemesis of reason for later game stuff to name a few...

replace do or die with lightning bolt or a murder spell, go for the throat or terror... chances are they will not have many creatures out especially after the assault of elementals, that way you can chose the one or two that possible survive.

if sen tripletts is your commander i beleive you have to take out cryptborn horror because of the hybrid cost with red. also undermine would be a cool counter to add. cool deck!

slumbering dragon and keeping the board clear doesnt seem like a great combo... and if you plan to leave creatures on the board to pump him up, youll can be taking some serious damage to get him to the point he can attack. focus more on one of the two

4 kor duelists, a first turn drop, either that one or steelshapers gift keep this deck competetive against speed deccks. also stonehewer giant would be a good addition. i would def switch swords to plowshares to path to exile, theres other cards that get pumped up by having equipment on them, like kitesale apprentice that would be good for quick drops that can work well if equipped.

i wanted to make a deck like this, if you have green in the deck def get some more cards to get lands out, like llanowar elves and rampant growth. also hellkite charger bear umbra combo would be really cool.

cool deck, maybe throw some wild growth in to speed it up even more, also either windstorm or hurricane to deal with flying, and also damage players as well or any of the other green ways to neutrilize flying.

thanks! i use my acidic slimes in a different deck and because my chances of getting a one mana card and a three mana spell to increase mana is relatively high, i dont worry about the mana curve. kalonian behemoth, lotus cobra, and birds of paradise would be great additions if i had the money. arbor elf i will keep in no matter what, his combo with overgrowth and wild growth has gotten me one of the 7 mana spells 3rd turn more times than i can count

being able to draw extra cards every turn is invaluable. getting the milling effect is just the added bonus. I like the combo of jaces erasure with jaces archivist, i have it in my milling deck. get a new hand and essentially mill an opponent for twice the cards in his hand every turn. he doesnt have defender though

i would def say take out traumatize, id prefer archive trap, so maybe 2 archive trap 2 mind sculpt? or some combination of the four cards mind sculpt, tome scour, archive trap, and traumatize. I read somewhere how in a good milling deck, traumatize shouldnt be used just because by turn 5 enough of your opponents library should be milled making archive trap the better card i also like jaces erasure, but you would have to throw in enough draw spells to make that worth it. grindclock is a possibility.

take out the two sorceries and replace them with cheap walls or cards with defender like wall of wood or cards like tome scour or mind sculpt, i would always take a definite number to just half. playing two walls instead of that will just pump up doorkeepers ability

arbor elf for lanowar elves if you have wild growth in here. also put in overgrowth if you do that. any of the hydras are good, primordial hydra especially
