Deck Description

So I went to the BNG Game Day and got smacked around by way too many people playing with insane builds like Bant Superfriends or Jund Control. As a result, I built this. This is my version of the Magic middle finger. It is intended to destroy EVERYTHING it faces down. Enjoy.

How to Play

Deal damage (Gotcha!) as fast as you possibly can. It is fairly easy given the amount of damage spells in the deck. Secondly, kill ANYTHING that is a threat. Also fairly easy with the amount of kill spells in here.

P.S. I will +1 any comment that gets the pun in the first sentence.

Deck discussion for Bloody Knuckles

Well I'll start with the actual deck. I'd start with switching the rakdos for more desecration demons, I'd probably drop the guildmage too. Then drop the burning earth your playing non basics, havoc festival and sinister possession. Add more: hero's downfall and thoughtseize. We cant help with the sideboard if the deck isn't finished.

first off, the deck IS finished. DD is great, but i want rakdos in here for his trample. guildmage is a good include because i can use it to ping someont after making master unblockable with a rouge's passage. i included burning earth because while i may be running nonbasics myself, im not afraid of taking a little pain is i can dish it out faster than i take it, especially since i played way too many people running only temples and shocklands. havoc festival has saved my bacon more tmes than i can count against many different deck types, and sinister possesion is good for an early hoplite.

i built the deck to work the way i wanted it to. i want my SB to be able to pick up my slack against things i have issues with. if i wanted help with the main body of the deck, i would've asked. so unless you have inputs on my SB, i dont really want any more suggestions thanks

Alright before the sideboard master of cruelties won't work with the guildmage, he changes the life total the guildmage requires it to be lost most people use burn. But onto the sideboard I'm going to assume the local meta is playing the top 8:
2 bile blight - for the aggro decks, mono blue and pack rat
2 mizzium mortar - only card besides devour flesh that can hit Blood baron, plus its great removal
2 slaughter games - for the control matchup or any deck that has something you dont feel like dealing with
1 charm - control if they're tapped out with some bombs in the graveyard this can get rid of them before they elixir them back
1 pithing needle - planeswalkers and mutavaults
2 burning earth - use at your own risk
3 thoughtseize or duress if you dont have them - mainly control but good against most decks
2 doom blades - cheap removal
2 dark betrayal - great against black decks

Ok for the Master/Guildmage combo, read this rulings taken verbatim from Gatherer on 4/15/2013:

For a player's life total to become 1, what actually happens is that the player loses (or in some rare cases, gains) the appropriate amount of life. For example, if the player's life total is 4 when the last ability resolves, it will cause that player to lose 3 life. Other effects that interact with life loss (or gain) will interact with this effect accordingly.

You were saying?

ok i kept mortars, slaughter games, needle, and burning earth. as for the rest...

in regards to bile blight, i have ratchet bomb. either or works since i have plenty of both.
wasnt sure about the charm. may still add it back just in case
cant afford thoughtseize and dont really like duress. too narrow of a window.
may add the whip back in. still debating that
doom blade and dark betrayal are still being deliverated on because the meta here is either mono-black or everything but black

Alright I stand corrected on the master and guildmage. As for the side board do some play testing with something friends and see what works.

ok so got everything together and played it against a naya domri/garruk creature ramp deck today. the dreadbores are a must after what they did so im definitely keeping them. im probably going to swap out the thrill kills for another spiteful returned, guildmage, and DD though. spiteful made himself a huge target with that guaranteed 2 damage each attack, plus it will help me get out rakdos more often. more results to follow

Made some updates. Added some more small fries with haste as a bonus, added another spiteful, havoc festival, & master. Replaced rogue's passage with prowler's helm. Dropped guildmage, thrill-kill, and rakdos himself. Deck should run much smoother now.

Did... did nobody really get the pun in the first sentence? My jaw is simply UNHINGED that this is the case!

If they did, they apparently have no sense of humor. I have a feeling they sniffed too much GLUE as a kid ;)
