Deck Description

Elves are notorius for their mana ramping skills, but what happens when you speed up the process? This deck will show you!!

How to Play

Basically just ramp into whatever you can. You will run into several of your mana dorks right from the start, so just worry about getting things on the field as fast as possible. Chances are you will run into a Genesis Wave fairly quick, so just be ready to ramp into that for an epic field presence in a very short time!

Deck discussion for Elven Genesis (Legacy)

so i playtested this last night and holy shit is it powerful! i got to cast genesis wave twice, the first time for 12 and again for 34 the very next turn. after finally getting my field all organized, i only had 3 cards left in my library. my graveyard consisted of my 4 waves and the second rofellos. i had such a massive field presence that nothing couldve stopped me from going crazy at that point.

I like the concept, genesis wave is cool, but why primal vigor? There are much better cards with similar effects... is o it a cost thing? I kinda doubt that because rofellos is fairly hefty hahaha!

i actually have this deck built in reality. i use the primal vigors because its a muuuuuch cheaper alternative to doubling season. that being said, they arent really needed. more of a bonus really. its nice to get out 2-3 of them and then tap a magistrate and load up warcaller with an insane amount of counters

Cool! Yeah, I just made an elf deck and tried it out. Sadly, I only have one warcaller. :( but I have most of the other cards. I like it! It works really well! I actually run a birthing por, a talara's battalion, and Elvish champion over imperious perfect. Does imperious perfect work really well? I don't know if I should buy them or not.

imperious perfect comes in handy early on for the +1/+1, and i can make some chumps to help speed up the archduid's mana for a genesis wave.
