The main goal of the deck was the ~$8 pricetag for the whole thing. Steam vents and Royal Scions would certainly make it better, but a deck that's almost as good and 10% of the cost can also be fun.

Its certainly worth considering. Personally I think I would stick with the Disenchants because its an instant, but 4 life for 1 more mana is tempting.
