actually this is a pretty cool deck for casual play.... ignore comments by people like amanrocks because they are only concerned with one thing: winning. MTG is also a game for creativity and fun, personally i like your deck, it's very flexible and def. a good budget deck. If you want, check out my decks and leave comments. thanks!

if you want to make a more well rounded rainbow deck, there are elemental creatures for every color in older editions (unless you're set on just playing Lorwyn)

wow now if only you can get your over-inflated ego through the comic shop door, you will be able to really take first place

yeah i hate megrim/underworld dream decks.... and all this countering would be annoying if you have the mana to use it

I like this deck.... blue/black has always been a personal favorite, and the Dimir make it even more sinister....

if youre going to use a instant kill (venom) deck, giant spider is too costly... look for a smaller alternative, such as canopy spider, matsu-tribe sniper, seton's scout, or skyshooter (all cost less mana and can deal with flyers)

thats a lot of attacking, but hard to swarm with such a heavy mana cost deck.... Masako (?) the Humorless would help for defense, and maybe Aether Vial to help get cards out

maybe you didn't read the theme-based casual play part of this.... it's not meant to be competitive, it's for fun

Or use the Reejerey and (even tho its a kick azz combo) drop the Scepter/Spanner combo for an even more focused blue mill deck.... also, Sanity Grinding!

I like it.... there is def. a lot of Untapping going on here. so maybe Twiddle or Infuse as instances

yes, this deck usually does fairly well, the combo's usually work one way or another..... since ALL the creatures are rats + Lab Rats... the main trouble for the deck is early on in the game, but otherwise, you don't have to have EVERY component every times, sometimes just the Bell or a Howl is enough to do serious damage.

Replace one of the Dark Rituals with Spoils of Evil for a super pump howl from beyond + life gain

switch daze (1U) for counterspell (UU) or Perplex (1BU) because you don't have islands and the effect of Daze isnt worth it

great deck so far.... instead of trying to add new cards, consider just maxing out what you have... that should get you the extra 10 you need. if you're willing to play a risky counter game until you can start pulling off Time Stop add a few of those, as well as mistbind clique and walk the Aeons (maxing out Dark Ritual is a no brainer for this deck because of your heavy spell costs)
also, if you can tap or bounce all your opponents creatures (ie ,Wash Out).... then you can just attack alot

It's a nice deck!! Maybe some Control Magic or Steal Artifact.... or any of the re-usable creatures for stealing, such as Magus of the Unseen, ect.... would def. be a challenging/annoying deck to play against.... any idea of the total cost, have you tried it out yet??

I don't know about type 2 legality (or any format really, I'm just a casual player), but I like your deck, it's at least more original than Wellwisher....ect....ect.... (i hate elves) lol. A few Heedless One's in the maindeck would def. be worth it
