Back before deathtouch was deathtouch, there were Basilisks. They were a creature unto their own and they were the only creatures (with few exceptions) who could kill another without dealing lethal damage to it....I've played with basilisks in one form or another for the better part of the last 20 years and still enjoy the mechanic.
The only non-land spell in this deck that will not in anyway directly contribute to a creature's demise is Frenzied Tilling. But I do believe there is a place in this deck for land destruction. Everything else in here will contribute to creature deaths.
