The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Just a weird little Pauper Modern deck I threw together on a whim, with a funny little combo. It's kind of a one-trick pony, but this deck is built with Pauper (a generally slower format, in my experience) in mind. It could easily be reconstructed into a ridiculous modern deck if one were to use uncommons and rares. It could also be modified into a Junk Sacrifice deck with things like Vampire Aristocrat, but that's just quibbling.
Basically, the heart of this deck is Midnight Guard. Tack Presence of Gond onto Midnight Guard, and you have an infinite elf-making machine. That coupled with most of the other things in this deck makes for a really annoying, turn-4 infinite combo. So, it would be something like:Turn 1: Plains, Soul WardenTurn 2: Forest, Selfless CatharTurn 3: Land, Midnight GuardTurn 4: Presence of Gond onto Midnight Guard. Start tapping for life and tokens.Turn 5: Land, Selfless Cathar. Sacrifice both Cathar's and swarm with infinite 3/3's.Of course, that relies on having the ideal opening hand, so to help things along there's Totem-Guide Hartebeast and other cards that are in for longevity's sake.

this is a really cool deck! really like the combo. one thing i would do with this deck is maybe take out cards that cost more than three, that way you can take out land and add spells. also for flying troubles just take out elvish skysweeper and add something like courier hawk or suntail hawk. but thats just my preference. +1 like!
