This deck was just me deciding to be an ass and make a quillspike/devoted druid deck that I could use to pull off an infinite lifegain/damage combo by either attacking with loxodon or sacrificing using rite of consumption. Sanguine bonds are just to be even more of an ass - along with privileged position to keep my board safe. the giant growth/might of oaks are to gain some combat tricks and keep things alive - deadly recluse are for air - sable because its awsome, devote/yavimaya/birds are for mana/land/draw.

I'm considering maindecking either - finder cards (diabolic tutor etc) and recovery cards to get things back (no clue what to use). suggustions on both of those are much appreciated.

This is an upgrade of a deck I have been playing for ... god... 6 years? The main idea is you use enchant lands for mana, enchantments for other effects - primarily protective, then you use ancestral mask and armadilo cloak on a creature with Pro-opponents color or super-shroud to give it +huge/+huge and trample lifegain and then swing with it and win. I only had plated slagwurm before, so other creatures were things with regenerate, pro colors, other nifty effects. I upgraded those to Troll ascetics and ledgewalkers to make them untargetable + other effects for awsome mana costs. The behomoth adds another armadilo cloak like ability that is re-usable , priviledged position makes it harder to kill my things, celestial mantle just looked awsome, flickering wards give creaturs Pro- so they cant be blocked or killed, yavimaya elder = draw+ lands, enchantress (the bitch) gets me some draw mechanism. All the legendary lands I own so I figure wtf I might as well have them in the deck ...and that sums up everything.

I would love imput on this idea - particularly suggustions about easy ways to avoid black making me sacrifice creatures etc (lots of black red and blue in my play group)

This is for use in a primarily 2v2, 3v3, star game environment with players who are casual but have very good cards and most of which build (or have had others build) good decks. You have to be able to survive early on if someone decides to agro you, but then also be able to hit very very hard late game to win. Things like congregate / isochron / legendary lands are very common.

My goal was a defensive deck that stays alive (people cant kill you cause of lifegain and dont want to attack you because of damage reflection), then once you get out 2 sanguine bonds and a tainted sigil, you do something like play a congregate (lets say 15 creaturse in play) and deal 30 damage to two different players, then you use the sigil, and gain both 30's as life - and repeat to do another 60 to two more players and hopefully win. My goal is to be able to do this by turn 10 in a star or 3v3.
