So, I've been told I should try making more 'fun' decks, and this is the result. I saw Jalira, and it looked like her ability could be abused fairly easily - who doesn't love t5 blightsteels? And since this deck's fail condition is just to play a ton of legendaries and hope stuff works out, I think it'll be fun to see what happens.Note - this deck is HELLA budget.
So, the aspects of the deck are:Ramp:Cards like sol ring speed up the playing of Jalira, allowing you to do cool stuff quicker. Being able to ramp is always good, so let's add it in here.Legendary creatures and/or creature token producers:Jalira's ability lets you have a free NON-legendary creature, but requires you to sacrifice a creature to get it. Now, if you put in cheap creatures like solemn simulacrum, the issue becomes getting one of them as a hit instead. However, using legendary creatures such as Rayne, Academy Chancellor, allows you to have sacrifice fodder that doesn't interfere with getting the threats - while also having the side effect that sometimes your legends will do random cool shit. The same is true for token producers such as abtruse interference.Threats:Obviously, you want enough threats so that there is a backup if the first is removed, and just for support in general, but not so many that you become unlikely to actually get a good threat. Now, I made this in a rush. I have no idea what the split should be, but I decided to have six, with Blightsteel Colossus being the best.Cool synergy and stuff:As I said, I made this in a rush, but it seems that, as a lot of creatures will be sacrificed, cards like God Pharoah's Gift might be of some use here.
