I recently saw on here, a standard death and taxes. I liked the idea, but saw a few ways the deck could improve. Avan Mindcensor is the all star of this deck. He makes our opponents searches neigh impossible, when we field of ruin their lands.and to slow the game down we have authority of the consuls and the honor guard. Gidion can also pin down some of the more troublesome creatures (phoenix, hazoret and glory bringer).we play lots of disruption because you know whats better then controlling the board? controlling their hand.So the Tax Collectors of the deck are Kambal, Kinjalli's Sunwing, and Tocatli Honor Guard. They make our opponents spells either cost life, come in tap, or don't allow abilities to trigger.
