This is just the kind of deck I would like to play in standard, except control, with a few token makers and destroy spells.

I don't think it is worth it playing the strip mine, as well you will be needing a bit more mana fixing, so maybe some tri lands from ktk or alara. Flame jab is a bad card regardless, and this is a cool deck. I give it my like.
