This deck is starting to tell a story, and I like that. It seems as though the elves have been dabbling in the sort of magic that the Simic order use to bind lifeforces to create a krasis. This is, of course, in its infancy as the elves (in this deck) have not allied themselves with the Simics and are working on gathered intelligence. That fact becomes painfully obvious when you see the monstrosity that is the Elvish Aberration. Then, of course, there's the Forced Adaptation spell that will give you a new test subject mid-battle.
