Face it though, with $10,000 dollars up for grabs twice every weekend just from SCG, Wizards can't print silly sets just to prove the older generation. I mean why do you guys see the old cards as so much better? I mean Jace is only 2 years old! I love creative standard decks, especially if they are quietly good, and standard has evolved and become stronger. So I put it to you gentlemen, create a good standard deck and prove to me its good (3-1 at FNM at least) and I will allow you to bang on about the good old days until the end of time.

As much as I love Northy (speak to him on skype when he is here) we don't need him to do EVERYTHING for us!! I know this is netdeck central but why don't we produce some powerful modern/standard/legacy that don't have to be budget, but just have to be kinda original and do well, Jessie, one last article deck to introduce the idea?

Oh dual lands really annoy me! Thats why I love people like Tom Ross who can take any format and make a powerful cheap(ish) deck! Thats what I would love to see from the vault.

I mean it has no place on the vault, sure in your play group thats fine. To be honest still no one uses the power 9 cards from what I have found!

I played a vintage deck with a modern deck, affinity FTW! I agree all standard is not an answer, thats why I play a lot of modern (that is where my budget decks are at!) Legacy is a bit tougher, still having just turned 16 I can't really afford all of my Death and Taxes in legacy! Sorry it makes you feel like that with standard, because I would never want to make anyone said playing something I really love. Tapped out is good fun, it has all the main formats which is nice! But I am a fan of all formats that wizards support because (going to sound like a dick here) but casual is an excuse to play a bad deck.

But will this 'static ability' make any decent decks that will change any format? This website has so much potential but a standard deck hasn't been on the hot page since my Naya deck! While as tapped out have a million and 1 powerful decks going on every single day. If every Vault member had a tournament against all the tapped out members, the likely hood is we would lose.

Its just the hot page is over run by Non-decks. Its not how an mtg website should be run.

Black devotion is boring but the best deck, most decks have set lists though, take a look at U/W or U/W/R planar cleansing

ignore Black/x devotion Blue devotion and U/W/x control, they are SOOO boring

Standard is so much fun, almost all my decks are standard so check them out and we can see what we can work on!

Hey Jessie, I wanted to find a deck without comments so I could talk about the 'rant' on 6 million digits of damage. You were right about strong decks needing to be on the hot page, the best way to do that is to make a cycle of powerful fringy standard decks, I'm about to upload Athreous humans that comfortably went 3-1 last night at FNM, we need to get the power decks on ASAP

Not to mention almost every aggro strategy dies to a single card, a wrath or Elesh Norn or the like. However Jessie is right, screw these article decks! Lets make the vault strong again!!!
