We have all seen the normal Tron based lists over the years. I wanted to explore a different option with the power of the lands. Here is my first take, rough draft, of DRAGON TRON! The idea came to me when I was sorting cards with my brother. I was talking about Eldrazi Tron, and how good it is in the meta. I then picked a few dragons out of the bulk and he randomly said, "Dragon Tron". I paused... Looked at him... Then started writing a deck list on paper, totally disregarding the sorting that needed to be done. Here is the first draft, pre-testing.
EDIT: CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE! I can't believe I forgot about the card 'Dragonstorm'. Now I have added more filtering and low cost spells to Hellkite for 20. Ha!The goal, just like any other Tron based deck, is to cheat out huge creatures/Planeswalker before the opponent has a chance to build their board. However, the normal way to break the symmetry is to run Karn out on T3, or run out many medium sized Eldrazi that cause mayhem on the field.This take on the deck is more of a super ramp style due to the Dragons all have more than 1 colored symbol to cast. The deck seems a turn or even 2 turns slower than most tron lists, but the payoffs are huge. Bogarden Hellkite pings 5 damage wherever you want, Dragonlord Atarka pings 5 damage to Creatures or Walkers, but has upside of Trample. The rest of the cards are the normal RG Tron package to cast the spells and fix the mana. Also, they allow card filtering which is very important in a deck with almost no card draw.
