Turn one play altar of the brood

Firstly, it would be nice if you used the How to Play section to explain the deck and its combo's. Stops people asking for the combo.

You need two Myr Retriever for the combo to work. One in the graveyard to return when the second dies as you can't return the one that just died.

Junk Diver doesn't work as well unless you get a second Heartless Summoning out as it costs {3} and Heartless Summoning only reduces by {2}, making Junk Diver cost {1} instead of being 'free'.

As for Junk Diver not being legal, only cards printed in actual sets since 8th edition are legal in Modern. Junk Diver was printed in Urza's Destiny, which was before 8th Ed. The Commander 2014 'reprint' doesn't make it legal.

OK. What would be a good replacement for Junk Diver then? I want this to be modern but I don't know what a good replacement would be. Would thirst for knowledge be alright?

Myr Retriever is the only card in Modern (that I know of) that does what it does. So search will probably be your best bet.
I've not played Thirst for Knowledge, so I won't say anything about it just yet.
Beseech the Queen can search for any of the combo pieces for {B}{B}{B}.
Dimir Infiltrator; Muddle the Mixture; and Shred Memory can all Transmute for the combo pieces.
Fabricate can search for any Artifacts.
Artificer's Epiphany looks like it works similar to Thirst for Knowledge.
Forbidden Alchemy could even work as you don't mind putting extra Myr Retrievers into the graveyard. You also don't have to reveal what you put into your hand.
Then there's always Sleight of Hand and Serum Visions.
