went 2-3 last FNM, local metagame is midrange control, not so much the STD powerhouse decks.

I have a similar build (link below). I really dig the evil twin as I can use it against the other player's creatures. Some questions for you:
1. What besides the myr to you want in your graveyard? Are you looking to use the Lich to take advantage of the alchemy?
2. Are you flickiering to reset your clones and reuse the titan? Is that working good for you?
3. With your lands 25 seems high since you have 8 duals. Do you find yourself with too many lands in hand or is it just right? I am running 24 with only the catacombs and have yet to see a problem with mana, was wondering how the extra dual lands have been helping/hurting(with the tap issue).

Again, my build is below, feel free to offer up advice. The best part of this game is how 2 people can have a similar build idea but use a different set of cards to pull it off!

I like the livewire lash and may have to find room for it in my UG infect deck!

Thanks for the input! I agree on the seachrome coast, but I will have to buy them. Instead of 1 drop blues, I was thinking of chimeric mass (impervious to wrath) but will research 1 drops (delver is an ez choice). I like ur point that the deck should lean on the trinket mage more (which also gets out a cage). The myr's were included to help play the colossus.

I will check out your decks right now. Thanks for the input!

Now that the price is coming down, Inkmoth Nexus would certainly help. Of course the dual lands are always good, but with 8 lands, ur talking at least 40 bucks.

I will build this out and give it a whirl. I love my blue green infect deck, but I think the red may be more fun- use the burn to destroy their creatures, use infect to kill them off, nice!

I like this build, I bet the reason the spiders win is that your opponents are focused on the other 'stronger' creatures. Splinterfright hasn't shown up much for me either. Do the non-creature spells hold back your graveyard dependent creatures? I think I am going to tweak mine for the FNM crowd and have some fun this Friday.

I have focused on minimizing non-creature spells, trying to utilize creatures that perform secondary actions when they die. My latest build is green/red and uses torch fiend, goblin arsonist and furnace scamp. And I added Fling, so I could put that Boneyard Wurm to good use! It has been pretty effective, I use the red creatures to block and ping my opponents creatures, chump blocking with everything once I have enough mana. Normally, I can extend the game to use Cagebreakers, but I have used Fling for lethal damage, which feels awesome!

I love the building on a budget articles. I assume you have the cards listed above so I won't recommend any changes. With all of the creatures having effects that trigger when they come into play may have the makings of a birthing pod deck.. Thanks for the inspiration.

I am also going to put together a red/black deck, so looking at yours is cool. I'd be curious to know how yours plays. It appears it would be pretty aggressive, but also allow some ping in case it stalls out. Also, how do the Blackcleave Cliffs work for you? I have been holding off getting a set since the comes into play tapped function seems like a real downer. Is it?

Good luck!

ps. my red/black will be more burn based, maybe even creatureless!

It sure does! The Bumps are an easy add, the rest I will look into.

Thanks a ton.

I love how creative people's first decks are! As you play, while your decks become more reliable, some of the creativity leaks out. Enjoy this time before you realize that sticking to 60 cards and playing 4 copies of your best cards is a requirement.

I like the idea. Maybe use Naturalize instead of Remember the Fallen and you can drop the white lands?

I love Spellskites, but not sure how they help. Are there any fetch artifacts besides the trinket/treasure mages? I would look at that too.

Thanks for looking at my version(http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=257313), I appreciated your comments and thought I would pass on the favor!

With your deck, you rely on creatures in your graveyard, yet you do not have a creature centric deck with only 18. I would consider trying to find creatures that do what your instances/sorceries do. For instance, the Armored Skaab is perfect as it lets you mill. To take advantage of mulch and the graveyard loving creatures, you need to have a ton of creatures doing your removal, land fetch, mana production, mill, etc.

Of course, if your build works for you, that is most important! Have fun, also, the cagebreakers is a gamewinner!

I hadn't thought of that, I have a set of 4 snapcasters, I'll see if I can get them back from my buddie who's 'borrowing them' and see how it goes. But this friday, Im going to try it out like it is.

Thanks for the comment!

I was just looking thru your deck and I was wondering why you had the snapcaster mage and Melira? Without any pump or bounce, is your plan to hit them once or twice early and then proliferate for the win?

laters!

Have you tried it out yet? I am curious as I am in the process of building a similar deck, but with only 4 |ponder| and 4 |wreath of Geists|, the rest creatures.

I think your deck will work, but it looks like your plan is to overwhelm over a few rounds rather than try to poison ur opponent in 1 or 2 strikes. I think you could cut some of the slower cards and try to get a quicker win condition.

Here is my version: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=186717

I kept the green/blue colors but use the spellskate to protect my attacker and vapor snag to clear the way. And lots of pump!

Good luck with it!

Also, ghostquarter allows you to destroy a land and lets the owner get a basic land. a good way to remove one of the crazy lands like valakut!

I assume that you are looking to as patrick swayze said in roadhouse, 'be nice until it's time to not be nice.' I am a noob when it comes to edh, but I will do some research on your build and see if I can recommend some fun and effective cards for your build, but from what I see it looks like fun.

There are a few cards that are recommendedfor these EDH decks: lightning greaves and sol ring. The sol ring is expensive and most don't have them laying around, but if you have any original Mirrodin cards you might find a lightning greaves in your uncommons.
