There are three cards with activated abilities that scale based on how many defenders you control: Axebane Guardian, Overgrown Battlement and Vent Sentinel. In a deck that's jam-packed with defenders, this translates into crazy amounts of mana and the ability to ping your opponent into oblivion. That's the deck; way too many defenders!
Dangerously low on land, but it does have 8 mana critters and 4 that can search your library for land. Two land in your opening hand is typically still enough to get it going. Remember that Axebane Guardian can produce red mana.Just try to keep as many of the defenders alive as possible so they can generate lots of mana and deal lots of direct damage. Plan B: Just attack using Assault Formation. Plan C: Use all that mana to monstrify the Colossus of Akros and trample.
