This is an obsolete version of my Wall Deck. All versions are based on using cheap green walls to provide mana ramp, card draw and combat defense. This allows the deck to build up to bigger, better cards faster than your opponent. The main failings of this version were:1) I really wanted to get maximum utility from the Wall of Mulch, so I had a strong focus on actual "walls", not merely creatures with defender. The deck was stronger when I focused on "defenders" because it gave me a greater choice of creatures.2) Cards like Heal the Scars and Colfenor's Urn didn't pull their own weight and were replaced by even more creatures.3) The harmless walls might be able to repel enemy attacks but they allowed those attackers to accumulate and keep coming without any penalty. Later versions could kill attackers much more easily.4) If it took to long to draw a Colossus or Assault Formation, you could lose the game just by being too harmless. Later versions were more aggressive.
Rapidly assemble a sturdy defense of walls, and hold out until the Colossus of Akros can show up and finish the game. Alternately, Assault Formation can finish the game by allowing your walls to attack. It's actually a little light on land, but most of the creatures are cheap, and 2 forests is enough to summon the mana-producing walls.
