Friend wanted to make a Gimmicky Skeleton Deck with Regen and angry Lich.I am not too saavy with the Black as it is my weakest of colors to work with So if you guys got any suggestions feel free to bring em up.
Skeletons with deathtouch and regen capabilities with an angry lich that places his phylactery in a Darksteel axe and smacks you for 7.

Before I start I'd like to say that everything I say is just my personal opinion, and that I'm not trying to be rude, and I'm not that good at Magic, so I'd understand if you ignore me. First of all this deck doesn't seem to be fast enough for legacy, so I would recommend a few cards that will make this deck modern legal. You could trade Restless Dead for Marang River Skeleton, which is actually better than Restless Dead, since it has an option of Megamorph. There isn't really a card that can replace Dark Ritual, so i'd recommend some extra removal like Murder, or a couple combat tricks like Coat with Venom or Subtle Strike. You could replace Urborg Skeleton with either Grim Roustabout or Flayed Nim. You could replace Kjeldoran Dead with Skeletal Grimace or Wall of Bones, Kjeldoran Dead is another tough one to replace. Like I said at the beginning if you don't want to listen to me that's okay, but overall good job with this deck.

I took your advice and replaced a couple of cards. I am not too familiar with black as it is not my forté. I added coat of arms to give a boost to the skeletons. What do you think of this updated list so far?
way better, this deck would've had a hard time in legacy, no offense.
No worries man, I'm no expert in Black themed decks as it is my weakest color. Plus this was a gimmicky kitchen table deck. Didn't know it was a few cards short of being modern.
yeah black isn't my best color either, but just to let you know if you hover you mouse over the legality checker on the right side you'll get a list of cards that are the reason you deck isn't legal in that format, if you don't know what I mean try hovering your mouse over the red not legal in standard on the right side of your deck description.

I just added him and modified this deck up to standard and had to make some changes. This deck is now modern legal.What do you think?
