similar deck but with spirit bonds instead of the Ajani's presence. also less protection and more removal and more filtering with genesis hydra.

what is the reasoning behind having the chapel and urborg? I don't see swampwalk and the only thing that really uses black mana is the flashback ability on your sideboard card. is there nothing else in white that does the same? I feel like unless you have an urgent need to use urborg it is not needed. I feel as though in this deck the only thing it will really do is help your opponent if they play black or have swampwalk.

this deck and my current standard are very similar. check mine out "Abzan Value Creatures" so far out of 11 matches it has only tied twice, and in those ties it had the winning boardstate and a hand full of removal lol. http://www.mtgvault.com/imementomori/decks/abzan-value-creatures/

mana base needs a little fixing. most common mana is green but all your mana is split evenly. drop a plains and a swamp or two for another 2 forests and maybe urborg if you have it. also if you're not worried about price look into the rare dual lands especially the scry lands. being able to fix your draws is a pretty valuable asset. also I would probably take out brave the sands or ivorytusk. they essentially do the same thing except one provides a body and the other allows for extra blocks. for what your deck does I think keeping ivory tusk would be your best bet. this frees up a little space where you can put in a 2-of like sorin or high sentinels of arashin. I would personally go with wingmate, but sentinels seems to fit better with your scheme. since you don't have a mana sink in here I would drop mystics and pump the birds to 4-of. ramp is not necessary when you only have a 5 drop as your top end but mana fixing is an issue as mentioned earlier. also frees up 2 more slots to help fill in your 2 drop slot rakshasa deathdealer does a lot of work for me in standard but fleecemane lion is nothing to scoff at either.

belive me its much more midrange. It can win by turn 6 I think at the earliest. usually by turn 3 im set up for the late game win.

loving abzan in the current standard and to see such a cheap proper abzan with some outlast triggers chaining together. deff has my like here and if you wouldn't mind could you take a look at my abzan midrange im using for FNM. its been working really well so far, but has had its share of nailbiters so any advice is welcome :3

like I said, it has only tied twice because I ran out of time. if i had another turn or 2 in those ties i would be undefeated in 3 events.
I decided to try out genesis hydras to help combat control matchups since it still gets something when you cast it. added mistcutters to the side for the same reason. I have been seeing a lot of tokens and creatures with <4 toughness so bile blight and drown are doing a lot of work so far. favorite play is genesis into siege rhino currently because it has won 5 games for me.

this deck is built around interactions with athreos, the ascendancy, obelisk of urd and killing your own creatures

the ascendancy is to create tokens when your creatures die. athreos brings your creatures back to your hand unless your opponent pays 3 life. convoke lets me tap untapped creatures to pay for the spell, its not the creature's ability so it doesn't matter if it is summon sicked.

but, with so many cheap creatures it shouldn't be too hard to defend sorin with his +1.

stop posting the same commentssss lol. and I think this deck looks like a lot of fun. unsure about pharika due to the whole bringing back your creatures aspect of the deck. doesn't seem to fit the flavor, I would swap it for sorin :P

not a bad idea since I have very little draw ability.

if anyone just looking at this for the first time, I added a section to show what changes I made so you can see what it originally looked like before suggestions :3

deffinitely a win condition in its own with this deck once you have the ascendancy and a few creatures, unfortunately it is not in standard. i think i will add it to the sideboard for a format change.

I didn't realize kin-tree invocation was a spirit warrior. what would you take out to make room for it? I think it is deff. a sideboard, but since it is a creature token its missing out on both spirit bonds and the ascendancy when it dies.
