I'd have to agree, especially with Consuming Aberration.
Maybe Sanguine Bond would be okay in this deck, possibly sideboard it? Cutthroat Maneuver would be a great card in here, possibly another sideboard. Arial Maneuver and Swift Justice are also not too bad.
That'd require black mana. I was thinking more like Bident of Thassa maybe, because this is a bit more creature based. Or Conjurers Bauble or æther spellbomb possibly? :P
Double strike is a keyword ability that allows a creature to deal combat damage during both the First Strike and the normal Combat Damage Step. More rulings about Double Strike: http://wiki.mtgsalvation.com/article/Double_strike

You should put some Temple of Abandon in instead of the Guildgates. And possibly put int Stomping Grounds?

The best way to make a deck is to find a card and build your deck around that card.
Yeah, I was gonna make it on the vault. You should check out some of my other decks too :P
Yeah you use Boros Garrison after you tap your land and havent played a land that turn :P Therefore you're not wasting any mana usage. I see that the Ajani and Balefire together are basically a Helix, which is cool.

Main Deck: Clifftop Retreat and/or Sacred Foundry.Also, Lightning Helix is a great card as along with Boros Charm with Balefire Liege.I'd Sideboard 2x Mizzum Mortars,2x Chained to the Rocks, 4x Skullcrack, 3x Wildguess, 4x Boros Charm.

Phenax, God of Deception + Consuming Aberration. I'd take out my Mirko Vosk's and put in 2 more Abberation. Then take out the Precinct Six's and put in 2 Phenax, God of Deception. Then Take out my Phantasm's and put in Wall of Frost if needed. :P
