Deck Description

This decks goal is to win in one of two ways, either swing out with an enormous elf army or use playing the elves to get a combo win. Both strategies have synergy with each other so you can switch between making it play differently based on each game.

How to Play

The goal of this deck is to get one of the draw engines when you plan elf and an enabler to keep playing elves.

Draw Engines
Chulane as the commander acts as an engine you can always grab and provides ramp to boot if you have lands to drop. Then there is Vanquishers Banner, Beast Whisperer, Lifecrafter’s Bestiary, Soul of the Harvest, and Great Henge. Each of these will trigger off your low cost elves entering the field which you will hopefully be playing for free or with infinite mana a few different ways assembling a huge board and storm count.

Enablers
These are the cards that will really provide the extra punch the deck needs to swing above its low CMC weight class.

Alluren will allow you and your opponents to play 3 CMC creatures at instant speed for free. While that will help your opponents, this will mean you can cast most of the deck for free.

Concordant Crossroads lets you use tap abilities the turn creatures come down. Since most of these elves tap for mana this means you can play creatures and then use them to play more creatures. This can easily lead to a big snow ball very early especially with a draw engine.

Next are cards like Triumph of the Hordes, Best Master Ascension, Overwhelming Stampede, and Finale of Devastation will give your horde the ability to take out a table all at once. Equally, there are several cards in the deck that will buff all your elves making them big hitters very quickly.

Next up is also the ability to take advantage of the synergies to take the game in a turn if the pieces come together.

Elf Ball Combos/Synergies

The first way to take advantage of the elves coming down is a synergy between Enchanted Evenings+Aura Shards. Enchanted Evenings will make all permanents enchantments including lands. Aura Shards will allow you to destroy an enchantment or artifact whenever a creature enters the field. So whenever you play an elf you can begin wiping opponents boards and there are a few ways to infinitely do this,

If you have Intruder Alarm+Concordant Crossroads+Draw Engine, you will be able to play most of the deck. Crossroads will let you tap mana creatures as they come in and Intruder Alarm will untap all creatures whenever a creature enters. This will mean you can constantly tap creatures to play creatures untapping and repeating likely gaining mana in the process. With Alluren you will only generate mana with this combo. The draw engine will keep you going into more draw engines fueling the cycle till you reach a win con.

Next up is a way to create infinite storm, mana, or draw through a combination of Cloudstone Curio+Alluren/Concordant Crossroads+Draw Engine/Aetherflux Reservoir. With Cloudstone Curio you can bounce a creature of the same type to your hand. If Concordant Crossroads is in play and you have elves that tap for the mana needed to pay for each other it becomes infinite. Each elf will come down bouncing the other tapping and paying to cast the other. If they are elves that tap for more than that cost or Alluren is out this nets infinite mana. If a Draw Engine is out this draws out the entire deck getting your win cons. Enchanted Evening+Aura Shards are out this will also wipe the board. If Aetherflux is out, then this will create an infinite storm count also winning the game.
