As much as I hate to say it, I would take out the splash of Black from the way you play this deck.

I posted a version as well. Expensive but it's what I would build if money isn't an issue. Rough draft of it, anyways.

I got some great ideas still for this deck Jon. I'll make a version myself. I'd avoid Shrine of Burning Rage in a multi-color deck btw. Totally gimps it when you cast a spell that isn't red.

Dragonspeaker Shaman + Urza's Incubator - JUST SAYIN. I'd add 2-4 and replace a few of your dragons.

Dude, I think you are right. Sweet!!! I looked into it more and that's the consensus. Owned.

I was thinking - shouldn't you just go 4x Journey to Nowhere and 2x Oblivion Ring? They are lower mana cost and your goal is to exile your dragons (creatures).

See, that was my question. I don't think that is how it works. What's your train of thought on it? Also - you are going to ripple into lands. That could prove problematic at times.

Thanks for your feedback. My main issue with 4x Dragonspeaker Shamans is that I want to steer clear of trying to hardcast dragons. My goal is to Dragonstorm into them ftw.

Good call bro. I changed my deck around some based on your feedback. I may even drop 4x Ruby Medallions for 4x Rite of Flame. Thoughts?

Good concept bro. However, I am going to stick with mono red since the dual lands are so expensive!

I'd also drop 3x Evolving Wilds and 1x Swamp and add 4x Isolated Chapels.

Nice updates. I'd als drop: 1x Nomads' Assembly, 1x Increasing Devotion, 1x Geist-Honored Monk, 1x Honor of the Pure, and 1x Intangible Virtue. Add: 2x Timely Reinforcements and 1x Prison Term.

Sweet first attempt at a deck bro! You need 4x Leyline of the Meek added to this. I see a few issues - mainly some of your abilities rely heavily on creature types but you are all over the board with creatures. For example, Requiem Angel only triggers if a spirit token dies but you have human, soldier, and spirit tokens. You can't use Knight-Captain of Eos' ability unless it is with a soldier and once again, not all creatures are. My fear is you aren't maximizing your abilities.

IMHO drop the Cover of Darkness x2. Your deck is about swarming. Add in 4x Swarmyard and take out 6 swamps. This leaves open 4 slots to play around with for now. Here are my questions:

Would Null Profusion and Thrumming Stone work well together? Play a rat and ripple 4 more then draw 5 cards. Play one ripple 4 more then draw 5 cards.

Also, is ripple considered casting a spell or not? If it is - then Door of Destinies could be sick.

Hunted Dragon? o.O I don't get it bro.

I can understand Bogardan but it totally nullifies my proliferate ability from Volt Charge. If I switch from Kilnmouth to Bogardan then I would need to switch Volt Chare to Incinerate IMO.

Unfortunately it is banned in EDH along with Tolarian Academy so I can't use it. Wish I could though!

Good call on both. I'm running out of room is my problem. I like the flashback on Increasing Vengeance but I always get a little scared with "my spells" only. I'm a "what if" person. I have considered 4 Seething Songs over Ruby Medallions though. Thoughts?

I chose Moltensteel for a few reasons. First, he is counted as a red spell. Second, because he can be casted "for free" by paying life instead of mana and if I have Ruby Medallions out. Finally, for a quick win I can burn life to buff his combat damage. Do you think there is a better choice out there? I'm always open to suggestions!

The bolts and journeys are great defensively too!

Have you thought about putting a Dragonstorm in your deck as well for kicks? P.S. I vote drop the Crucible of Fires. The goal of your deck is to exile, clear the table, swarm dragons. Those don't really fit the scheme and you could really benefit from replacing them with 2x lightning bolts or 2x more Journey to Nowhere. Maybe even dropping a dragon or two to make sur eyou have 4x lightning bolts and 4x Journeys. JUST IMHO bro. Your deck is sick!
