I agree with those options. I don't think Glare had been printed when I originally made this list!

Hopefully they'll reprint it in MM2017 and it'll be cheap enough to add to this deck, along with Bogle to make this cheaper altogether.

Trample is relevant when your budget deck doesn't have good removal!

It's not a spirit! But it could replace one of your anthems. :)

It's going to take a lot more than $30 to compete with competitive players, unfortunately.

You're right. Before MM2015, Dispatch was too expensive.

IMO, $100-125 is pretty cheap for a good Commander deck. Even the precon Commanders Wizards released this year had around $80-100 in raw card value, but they print the cards so they can charge what they want.

It can race almost anything but still folds to save effects and some Wraths, given this is the budget version of a much pricier deck. I have the Tier 1 version and frequently build this list for friends who are looking to get into Modern on the cheap.

I'll think it over, you may be right. Silverblade is better when this gets upgraded with Aether Vials because it's better on the curve.

I'm hoping Path to Exile and Vapor Snag will keep most threats at bay long enough to throw at least two of the combo pieces down, which will slow the game to a manageable crawl. I haven't played a whole lot of Modern at this point, but will continue tweaking this and praying for some luck. Thanks for taking a look and commenting, side board suggestions welcome!
