Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (15 cards)

Sorceries (7)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

so... this is an absurd deck, in every sense of the word.
the goal here is to get out a Mycosnyth lattice quickly, and abuse it.

How you ask?

Making everything artifacts makes vandalblast your best friend, and making everything colorless makes Ceremonious Rejection your other best friend.

Splinter removes tons of lands, making it hard for your opponent to play cards.

this deck probably works best against players who have never seen it before.

comments and suggestions welcome.

Need help solidifying the sideboard.

How to Play

the deck is actually a lot simpler than it looks.
the best it can do is a turn 2 Mycosynth Lattice.

turn 1 mountain, goblin welder and darksteel relic.
turn 2 entomb, searching for Mycosynth Lattice, use Goblin welder to swap Darksteel Relic for Mycosynth Lattice.

this sets you up to kill pretty much everything on your opponent's side of the field very easily.

also, you get some great value out of Mycosynth Wellspring or Solemn Simulacrum with goblin welder. with 2 of these, you to get 2 cards per turn for free which is super powerful.

the most fun thing you can do is pull cards from your sideboard like Progenitus and essentially cheat them out, or Vandalblast and destroy their entire board state.

Deck discussion for Mycosynth Toolbox

Hmmmm... I don't have any suggestions that aren't already outclassed by the non-Modern cards in here. But I now want to see if I can design a similar deck that is Modern legal. Time to read up on a ton of cards I'll likely never use XP

Looking for Modern ways to ReanimateLattice as you do here has led me to looking at alternative ways to cheat it in. The one that I feel may interest you is Thran Temporal Gateway. Too bad Lattice doesn't make cards in hand artifacts.

Indeed. It does Make them colorless though.

Honestly I would love for this to be modern legal.

Oh, with everything being colourless, M19's Infernal Reckoning is worth consideration

Indeed. It was actually one of the first cards I thought about when I was putting this together. I put 2 in the sideboard. I feel like it is a reverse Swords to Plowshares, but limited to colorless, which works extraordinarily well here.

If you REALLY want to make your opponents bang their heads against the deck I'd recommend a Darksteel forge and Padeem, Consul of Innovation, give YOUR artifacts indestructible and hexproof

Ingesting suggestions. I had indomitable archangel in the sideboard for shroud, but I imagine Padeem is better. Particularly with the possible extra card draw.

Reactor is also pretty funny.

I was actually talking about the Darksteel Forge, https://www.mtgvault.com/card/darksteel-forge/M14/

Crap. Was tired. Meant to put forge. I knew what forge does, just grabbed the wrong card. Thanks.
