Deck Description

Designed on winning quickly with laboratory maniac. Although not very likely, it is possible to win on turn 1 with a perfect hand. In reality, it's designed to win quickly and stall the opponents victory by creating big, low cost problems such as leveler and inverter of truth. Drift of phantasms adds a nice flying blocker as well as the ability to transmute for lab maniac.

How to Play

Win with lab maniac as fast as possible. One really fast combo is to have the maniac out, then play spoils of the vault and simply name a card that isn't in your deck. You'll deck yourself, then you can play angel's grace to keep yourself from dying to all the damage. After that you can either gitaxian probe for 2 life or street wraith for 2 life, and win on the same turn that you deck yourself. The idea is to win on the same turn that you play maniac, so your opponent doesn't really have time to figure out what's going on. You can also win via leveler/ lab maniac inverter/lab maniac, or really even by killing your opponent with the big creatures that you'll be putting out for low costs. It's a relatively quick winner that can usually be obtained for under $100. Not gonna win you a pro tour, but you might be able to scoop up a local crowd with it. Plus it's fun and unexpected.

Deck discussion for Then there were none

This is a tasty "fuck it" deck, ha. Of course it isn't reliable but I'm sure it feels good when you pull off that W! I'm also sure if I played something like this against my buddies they'd only let me play it once after pulling off a win.

Thanks! And yeah, I mostly just build decks for fun haha. I like to find weird ways to win.
