Deck Description

very similiar to some of the modern, legacy, lists.


I am sure there a lot of different ways this deck can be built, the deck description is also pretty short because I spent a ton of time writing it and then it did not save.
Some changes could be adding a lot more cyclers, possibly even removing some of the double faced lands to add more card draw to get to your combo pieces. There are no tutors in the deck right now, this was done purposefully to keep the deck low power, but obviously this would make the deck much better.

How to Play

The double faced lands are the trick here. You want to get one of three cards that mill your entire deck into play, those being heritage druid, which has to sit in play for a turn, or balustrade spy/undercity informer. Then you mill your entire deck and get a bunch of triggers.

All you need is three creaturs to cast dread return, this is usually some combination of one the creatures you cast to mill your deck, a narcomeba, salvage titan, and vengevine. Because of the creeping chill, you will get a silversmote ghoul onto the battlefield at the end of turn, as well as a prized amalgram. Haunted dead is also available to be put into play from the graveyard. Between these effects you should always be able to go off in a single turn, but if there is any disruption the creatures return at endstep can help give you another shot, as can memory's journey and the worldspine wurm giving you another draw step.

Bridge from below will also give you 2/2 zombies will you are sacrificing creatures for dread return or any other effects, which is something to keep in mind.

The plethora of artifacts are there for the salvage titan and to quickly cycle through the deck.
Goblin charbelcher is not as effective in commander as it can only hit a single opponent, but the best removal is player removal as they say.

The Howling mine and rites of flourishing are probably not needed, but I had room in the deck and figured I would put them in, there is also a couple of pieces of removal. There are also going to be times when you are casting some of the spell lands which is ok.

Something else that is important to note is that if you go for the lab man side of the combo and azami is killed or you are unable to use her, deep analysis will be in your graveyard and can be cast with flashback to win.

Phantasmorgram can help if combo pieces are in hand when your going off and need to discard them, like a thassa's oracle or a angel of glory's rise, dread return, those sorts of things.

Somethings to keep in mind are that worldspine worm gives you a little bit of extra margin for winning, incase an artifact you sac makes you draw or an op is able to make you draw or something. Memory's journey can also help with this.
