Deck Description

Turn One: Land drop.
Turn Two: Land drop #2, Heartless Summoning.
Turn Three: Selhoff Occultist for one, endless Myr Retriever loop.

Obviously not a perfect combo because of the double Retrievers it requires, but still fun for the kitchen table. For you, at least. Maybe not so much for your friends. And with Shimmer Myr, you can go off at instant speed!

Deck discussion for T3 Infinite Mill

i totally love this deck idea. i feel like maybe you should add some sort of tutor or something that way you can improve your odds of finding the right cards. i feel like dimir infiltrator is only in there for that reason but you cant look for selhoff occultist with it. maybe more draw power? awesome combo though and i like the idea.

Thanks! Yeah, I was kinda torn between tutors and card draw... the Infiltrator isn't ideal, but it does get everything except the Occultist. I might try See Beyond because it comes down earlier and moves through the deck faster.

i feel like see beyond hurts your odds, doesn't it? your chance of drawing the card you need is closer to completely random that way because of the constant shuffling.
honestly just more kill spells and counters and other forms of control might be able to buy you enough time to get the right cards as well.

Ahh, that's a good point. Definitely needs playtesting.

If nothing else, I have Forbidden Alchemy. It's such a champ in this deck, digging deep and dumping Retrievers into the graveyard... after all, I only need one actually in my hand.
