The main inspiration for this deck was wondering what would be the easiest way to drop 5 colour creatures using only green and black mana....And I found something that seems to work really well in that respect.
Play aether vial turn one, let that run, or play elvish piper (equip with aspect of mongoose) and diabolic tutor Maelstrom Archangel, or Braids, conjuror adept.Use defence of the heart in ANY situation, why the hell not - no drawbacks with this card. Use to search for platinum emperion and godsire, or Avacyn.Use Font of Mythos in conjunction with Oracle of Mul Daya to draw lands with relative ease. This deck is fun because no matter what situation you get into there are cards that enable you to circumvent the huge CMCs of creatures in the deck, as well as creature search library cards like flute of citanul and diabolic tutor. Minor return from graveyard scheme with paleoloth, as well as Elixir of immortality.

Genesis wave is a great card but isn't cost effective in terms of how I end up playing my creatures. I probably won't end up with 8 mana unless the game drags on in a stalemate, thanks a lot for checking out my deck though!
Maybe try Forbidden Orchard to work with Defense of the Heart. Also, as far as I can see, you have no way to actually cast Conflux.

Beast Within also work nicely with Defense of the Heart, but is also really usefull!
beast within is great, but would I need it if I already have braids and forgotten orchard, along with Font of Mythos?
