Endless Cycle/Combo deck featuring Ornithopter, Purphoros, Midnight Guard, and Retraction Helix. Some Control, Draw, and Enchantment cards make it work.
This is a combo deck featuring Ornithopters and Impact Tremors/Purphoros and an endlessly untapping Midnight Guard/Retraction Helix Combo. Once the Guard and and an Impact Tremors are down, cast Retraction Helix on the Guard and then plop down/remove/repeat the Ornithopter. Each time the Orni hits the battlefield Tremors will cause 1 damage. Secure the Wastes is for mid-game when there is mana to make it work. I need help with the control, draw, and lands, if possible. This is a Standard deck.Note that we could also put Altar of the Brood down to add a mill component to the Ornithopter up/down sequence. Outpost Siege could also work to pile on the damage when the Orni is pulled up. Conceivably each time the Orni hits the table it would mill with the Altar, deal 2 to 6 damage (Purph + Tremors up to 4 times) and another damage when the Orni is pulled up by the Outpost. Rinse, repeat.Thoughts?
