I've played this deck last weekend on my first "official" Modern Tournament. After my first match, which I loose miserably because a lack of lands, I won the other 3 games. It was an amazing evening and I have to say that beating 500$ decks with this cheap deck was pretty sweet :)

BT, I've replaced Slip Through Space and Distortion Strike with Aqueous Form. Haven't tested yet but I think Scry on every attack could help quite a lot.

I'm stupid! I totally misread Might of Alara. I thought it was each basic land, not type :(
That said, Explore is not that helpful then, since you can handle the deck quite good with a few lands

Going to replace them with your suggestions. Thanks a lot!!!

After some games, I've tweaked this a bit. Now it mills faster, and we have some creature power (Gurmags). Sinergy between cards is reaching the sweet spot

I have built a pauper deck that's really fun: https://www.mtgvault.com/luishj/decks/twisted-mill/
I would love to hear your feedback! Thanks

Didn't know about that one! Thanks.

Trample is a nice thing to have when infecting but seems like using it is more appropriate for 4th turn and beyond. Probably at that time, you can pump your creatures enough to cast Temur, which would be a real finisher.

I was thinking the same: life gain decks!
But in any case, next turn there wouldn't be any cards in the library to draw..

Going to try this deck. Thanks a lot!

Sorry for the silly question, but not sure if I get how the combo properly works: Duskmantle triggers Mindcranck and the other way around in a loop so win condition is life loss rather than depleting the library, right?

Ok, built a version based on yours and looks pretty nice. A bit slow so I'm going to tweak it and publish it so you can compare :D

And would be fun using Seton's Desire on Threshers

By the way, Thermokarst is uncommon.

Love the idea. Going to try it!!!
Only one question... how about adding some Giant Growth or Vines of Vastwood to upgrade Thresher Beast as a finishing move?
