Deck Description

I have been trying to put together a low-buck version of the Bogle-Aura type of deck that has been doing well online, including the recent MTGO Championship.

Aura Gnarlid is the best cheap alternative for Kor Spiritdancer that I can think of. The attack power will be comparable, and it has excellent evasion built in. They are both susceptible to the same removal, so we are just really going to miss that card draw.

Daybreak Coronet has also been priced out of this deck, so we just have to make up the difference with other cost-effective enchantments.

I feel like Sage's Reverie could possibly replace the card draw we miss from Kor Spiritdancer, but its mana cost is just high enough that I doubt it would make up the difference before the game is over. Could possibly get more mileage out of Sixth Sense or Snake Umbra.

How to Play

Even though this type of deck is named after the Bogle, it is the Aura Gnarlid that will be getting the most attention from your opponent. Since it will usually be unblockable, it is the perfect target for Snake Umbra that will give it some extra protection as well as the extra cards.
