Deck Description

version 2.0 of my other mono red devotion "rising sons, falling gods". sheer aggression and brutality.

"brutality has become my appetite, violence is now a way of life"
-Cannibal Corpse "Hammer Smashed Face"

How to Play

Heroic creatures get triggered with buff ability and that can help with the battalion effect in a few of the creatures, namely the loyalist. a word on the loyalist, he can be killed easily so only play him when you absolutely need him. he has haste and is cheap so drop him in when attack is certain, battalion will be triggered and damage is inevitable, otherwise keep him in hand.

Only cast the oracle if you have a buff spell in hand or it will get wasted. Hell if you have no cards in hand the opponent will know that you have nothing to play. After a while they get to realize that buff spells is what is in here so you would do well to have land left untapped to let them know the attack is coming whether or not they pay tribute. Demoralization of the enemy is key.

try like hell to avoid attacking with the archetypes. This goes for every color. there are too many ways to drop them these days. no sense in putting them into combat if you can help it. they are too valuable. however if you know you have the opponent against the ropes and you are swinging to close them out, go ahead and finish them off.

Deck discussion for Rising Sons, Fallen Gods

Oracle of Bones is actually bad for you, since all of your instants are combat tricks, you want to hold them for just before damage. I would replace Oracle with Rakdos Shred Freak or Rakdos Cackler. I would also replace Nyxborn Rolicker with Thunderous Might.
Or Ash Zealot is another choice over Oracle of Bones.

ash zealot is way more money than I want to put into this but a good choice nonetheless. Thunderous might I have and I can't think of why i didn't put that in here.
As for oracle being wasted, sometimes i enjoy letting the opponent know exactly how the fight is going down.

good Ideas. thanks.
