Have you considered Fleecemane Lion? Even without monstrosifying it, it's a stupidly efficient card as a 3/3 for 2CMC.

To add to this; the new Marauding Blight-Priest from Zendikar Rising fills the same niche for one less mana. Now we just have to wait for a 2CMC version...

Thanks Muktol. Wasteland Viper is definitely a strict upgrade on Moss Vipers - I just don't own any :D The Renegade is probably a good call too; I just tend to be pernickity about tribal types for purely the feel of the thing :)

Killing Wave and Plunge into Darkness are the sac triggers. They need to be ones where all the sacrificed creatures die at the same time to give the multiple triggers on the blood artists, so individual 'sac a creature' cards don't really do the job.

Thanks for the comment. Might work as a one of just to help max the damage. Or, with all the triggers being 1 life-gain each, Cliffhaven Vampire would also produce the same effect for one mana less and a 2/4 flying body :)

Sounds like a bit of a Magic Christmasland scenario, but this happened in one game last week:
3 player Commander game and I had Teysa, Elenda, Zulaport Cutthroat and a sac outlet out, then drew Seraph of the Scales...
- Sacced the Seraph to create 4 spirit tokens, Elenda got 2 counters (making her a 3/3). Each opponent took 2 and I gained 2.
- Sacced all 4 spirits. Elenda got 8 more counters (11/11). Each opponent now -10, me +10.
- Sacced Elenda for 22 vampire tokens! Each opponent now -12, me +12.
- Sacced all 22 vampires. Each opponent -56, me +56! All from one original sac. 'Twas glorious :D

Thanks Muktol. Anger is in for the Descent of the Dragons moment, to give all the newly enlarged tokens haste, and Guttersnipes are just so much fun with all the goblin producing sorceries (and I've won a couple of games with two out and a seven damage lightning bolt! :D), but I definitely need to look at finding space for Massive Raid. Still not sure if the Battle Hymn / Past in Flames part is worth the cards though, so I might end up cutting them for more Krenko and Mons.

Cheers. I think both Mirri's would work well. I'll have to keep an eye out for one to try in there.

Just found an ace combo - not sure if anyone's discovered this one yet:

Pitiless Plunderer + Deadeye Navigator + Drowner of Hope = infinite mana and infinite LTBx2 effects from Vela.

When Drowner or Navigator enter, pair them with Soulbond. Sac one of Drowner's Scions for one colourless, also triggering Plunderer to give a Treasure token. Sac that for U. Use the mana to pay Drowner's flicker cost from Navigator and return in to the battlefield soulbonded again, netting one Scion gain each cycle. And so on... :D

It's infinite Scions without Vela. *With* Vela it's infinite damage to each opponent too.

With all the different lifegain triggers, have you thought about adding a Cliffhaven Vampire or two? Or are you wanting it to stay kind-of mono-white? A couple of Isolated Chapels / Concealed Courtyards might be all you need for the splash of black.

Very nice. With the Calls and Comissions have you considered Sanctum Seekers? Once you've got a few tokens out they can get very silly very quickly...
