Deck Description

This is a combo mana-acceleration deck. It relies on green devotion to trigger Nykthos for massive amounts of mana, and using voyaging satyr you can even use nykthos again!
Ideal hand: 1x Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. 1x Forest 3x Burning-Tree Emissary 1x Elvish Mystic 1x Mistcutter Hydra.

with this hand you can play a 6/6 with haste and swing 6 turn two.

How to Play

Early game you want things like Burning-Tree, Elvish Mystic and voyaging satyr to help move things along. Hopefuly you should be able to play a polukranos or arbor colossus turn three, and then once you get a nykthos you're pretty much set. The Garruks are necessary to restock your hand with more creatures, and since the deck is almost half creatures, garruk's plus one ability should keep your hand fresh with more creatures to play.

The sideboard is mainly designed for playing control and mono blue, because this deck does well against most everything else.

Deck discussion for Mana Ramp at it's Best!

Very nice deck with a lot of excellent personal choices. I really like the additioin of the Giant Adephage, that alone makes me think Xenagos, God of Revels might have a place here making it a hasted 14/14 trample that leaves behind a freind. I also really like the archetype in the sideboard and think I may add that for the Jund monsters matchup since the addition of spot removal is the only thing that lets it stand against G/R. I can't decide if i'm on board with the nessian ravager as I believe giving your opponent any choices on your permanents is disagreeable, or it's a dud (well, a 6/6 dud) in the control game 1. Overall, I love it. +2! (I cant don that : p )

Thanks for the feedback! Your point about the nessian wilds ravager is a good one, and that is why they are always the first thing i side out against control.
