After much consideration, I'm going ahead with the Quicksilver Amulet's, moving Jace's Erasure to the sideboard in case of "you can't touch me" decks.

Not quite sure what to swap out, but definite potential there. Perhaps it's time to drop the Memnite's. I was already considering ditching them for simple Llanowar Elves to speed up the Jin. Thanks for the suggestion!

I thought about Ichorclaw in place of Necropede, but found the people were afraid to block the Necropede for fear of getting a "feature" creature knocked off as a result. I still might try running it that way sometime to see what difference it makes. I also got odd looks, once people had a chance to look at the deck after the tournament, for not running Inkmoth Nexus. Again, it was a possibility, but the deck has very little use for colorless mana. I just wasn't willing to risk not having the right type of mana. Between the Blighted Agents and the Distortion Strikes, the benefit of a flying infect creature to get by land defenders just wasn't that great.

This deck won our local GPT qualifier, with only one game loss on the day. It was a small qualifier, but I was extremely pleased with the way the deck performed. I know that some people have opted for the proliferate route, but I found that I either delivered all 10 poison counters to my opponent in one turn, or possibly two turns. Proliferate cards would have sat in my hand waiting for an opportunity to use. This deck can't afford to lose the opportunity to draw a pump card. Drop a Livewire Lash on a Glistening Elf, hit it with a Distortion Strike and a Groundswell in one turn and it's over.

Found your deck shortly after finishing my own, eerily similar deck. I've been out of the game for nearly 10 years, and have yet to even buy any "modern" cards. The differences for mine include:

- Viral Drake (x4)
+ Necropede (x4)
- Rot Wolf (x4)
+ Birds of Paradise (x4)
- Spell Pierce (x4)
+ Throne of Geth (x3)

Land: 16x Forests, 5x Islands

Sideboard is totally different (Again, I haven't played in ages and know nothing about popular deck types I might encounter):

Asceticism x3
Nature's Claim x4 (switched from Naturalize after reading comments on your deck)
Mana Leak x4
Beast Within x4

* Beast Within might seem really strange, but I want a way to deal with Melira, Sylvok Outcast, and mess with any permanent-based combo.
