This deck is community deck for a local game store. It is an extra incentive to make people warm to play pauper.More info about this incentive can be asked at Albion Kortrijk (Belgium).THIS LIST IS NOT THE EXACT DECKLIST THAT IS AVAILABLE AS A COMMUNITY DECK!I’d rate Pauper Black Burn about a 1 / 5 in difficulty. Here’s my breakdown:Why it’s fairly “easy”The game plan is straightforward: deal damage, burn, apply pressure. The deck wants to reduce opponent’s life as quickly as possible. There is less complexity in terms of long chains of interaction or deep combo lines. You don’t have to manage a lot of different axes (like control, tempo, combo) simultaneously.Because the deck has low mana curve and many inexpensive spells it’s more about sequencing and efficiency than about complicated resource management. Sideboarding and matchup knowledge might add a bit of extra difficulty.
The idea of this deck is to burn your opponent his/her life total to 0.As soon as possible you want to play your creatures (or cards that flip/make creatures )Reason behind it is that a creature can deal each turn (combat) damage. After that you start to dump your hand in the most mana efficient way. When your hand is (almost) empty, you start by drawing card's.Your card draw can also be used as an extra burn spell. In your openingshand you're looking for a way to be mana efficient for the next 3 or 4 turns. This needs you to be thinking ahead.
