This deck is community deck for a local game store. It is an extra incentive to make people warm to play pauper.More info about this incentive can be asked at Albion Kortrijk (Belgium).THIS LIST IS NOT THE EXACT DECKLIST THAT IS AVAILABLE AS A COMMUNITY DECK!
This deck has one condition to keep your openingshand: keep at least 2 land! It's control in a creature shell. Weird to play with but a nightmare against.Very difficult to master this deck. The deck wants to win on Crypt Rats with it's ability. The other creatures are more sacrifice fodder. By sacrificing a creature you get multiple advantages. You draw cards, use the dying trigger (Fear of Lost Teeth, Footlight Fiend, Perilous Myr) TL kill opponents creatures. When your creatures are bound to be destroyed by an spell or effects (yours or your opponents effect), you can also sacrifice your things to draw cards for max value. Your creatures dieing in combat is less beneficial, unless you can take 2 things out this way.Toxin Analysis can be an all star in the deck in combination with Crypt Rats. One of the most broken board wipes in pauper. But when Fear of Lost Teeth, Footlight Fiend or Perilous Myr die after Toxin Analysis resolved, the remember that they had lifelink and deathtouch. An other need trick can be activating Crypt Rats for lethal when you have less life then your opponent. You both die at the same moment and you force out a draw. In a best out of 3 scenario, it means you still have a chance of winning, because you both need 2 wins to win the best out of 3.The first Accursed Marauder wants to sacrifice itself. You have multiple ways to get it back, but only 3 cards left in your deck.Mesmeric Fiend in sideboard has an enter the battlefield trigger. It also has an leave the battlefield trigger. Once the enter the battlefield trigger is on the stack (before resolving), you best sacrifice Mesmeric Fiend to put the leave the battlefield trigger on the stack. The way the stack resolves is by resolving the last spell or ability first. Look at it as building a tower of bricks (triggers), and then demolish the tower from the top to the bottom. Long story short, you exile a card from your opponent hand forever (because the leave the battlefield trigger is long resolved when nothing was in exile) and you draw cards.Crypt Incursion is more than graveyard hate. It also can be used as life gain.Same for Debt to the Kami. It's enchantment removal or creature removal.
