Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!

I'm new to EDH as well. The only card I might suggest you take a look at is Palinchron, you can do some cool stuff with him. I wish more people played EDH so that you could get more feedback !
