Occam's Razor is a logical device that states unnecessary complication in a premise or thesis can and should be removed. This ensures the precision of your thought process. Nekusar's flavor can be summed up the same way. All you need is card advantage for cheap, and what cards give you more draw for your buck than wheel effects? the fact that you are killing your opponents in the process adds to the ruthless efficiency of this deck.
It acts like a vicious group hug deck. You give the table cards, the pay for them in life. Howling mine effects stack up quickly and should be played early on even without Nekusar on the battlefield to draw fire away from you. Of course, once the lich king's toture equipment comes out, that quickly changes. the beauty of this game plan is there is little you need to do besides sit back and sling wheel effects when he is on the table and controlling the game so that their removal is useless to stop your plan. It's also ridiculously fast in edh terms because everyone else is getting cards too, leading to explosive mana from green decks and huge armies from aggro decks. Usually this leads to arms races which weakens all players at the table except for you, who is cackling madly waiting to cast the rest of your wheel spells to eliminate your opponents when the time is right.Rock on metalheads! \m/
