Deck Description

Artifacts and artifact creatures with counters on them, other cards that care about or need counters to function, and a boatload of fun spells to support them. This is a $20 Arcbound Beatdown deck, except with less black proliferate and more green combat shenanigans compared to most of the other ones.

How to Play

How to have fun:

Step 1: Get lethal power on the board split among as many creatures as possible.
Step 2: Swing for lethal.
Step 3: Sac all your blocked creatures to Throne of Geth / Spawning Pit.
Step 4: Buff an unblocked 1/1 servo with 19 +1/+1 counters for the kill.
Step 5: Laugh.

Fun has now been achieved.

Deck discussion for $20MTG: Counterspells

First public deck, wahey. Not too competitive, but very fun to play. Manabase is a bit strange due to budget constraints. Other than that, I'm reasonably happy with the deck. It's more interesting to play than most of the other aggro decks I've made - mostly because you can do some very sneaky things with Arcbound creatures and sacrifice outlets, but also because it just occasionally blows up and floods the board with Servos. Animation Module and Arcbounds gets ridiculous fast.

T1 Clockwork Beetle into T2 Ordeal of Nylea makes for some fast T3s. Getting the Beetle Bolted sucks, though, but it's usually worth it.
