Deck Description

Inspired by Duels 2014 Two Headed Giant | "Masks of Dimir" + "Dodge & Burn"

Put all of it on top
Win easily with 2/2s :)

Although this deck is decent in competitive games already, I STILL NEED HELP :(

Just PLEASE print Remand and/or Plow Under and or/ Set Adrift and/or Submerge and/or Unexpectedly Absent and/or Vanishment and/or Azorius Charm and/or Expel from Orazca and/or Not Forgotten and/or Hinder as a common... I beg you...

IS THIS A DELVER DECK? (no.1 question)
Thought Scour?
Foreshadow?
Painful Memories?

Is {Disfigure} (a lot of targets in this format) better than {Vapor Snag} here (additional tempo, chunks life, is great against delve, combo and expensive stuff, aswell as land light draws and it's even possible to either save your Angler or replay {Chittering Rats} because... why not? It funnily enough can turn on the Chittering Rats trigger if your opponent has no cards in hand but a creature on the board) or NOT? Or should I load up on {Whisk Away}s or even {Whirlpool Whelm}s?

Any other win-cons you know?

What about {Mana Leak}, {Counterspell} or any equivalents?

What about {Sign in Blood} ( for a little bit of reach aswell as a smoother mana curve) vs. {Consult the Necrosages} (situational discard which is never bad, although my opponents usually have a full grip) ?

How could I improve my mana base? What should I cut?

How to Play

Just imagine... Memory Lapse into Chittering Rats in a format like Pauper...

Generally you want to start disrupting your opponent by making him or her draw the same cards over and over again as early as possible, so that at some point they're stuck with a low amount of lands, casting the same spells over and over again. These spells are either countered or dealt with otherwise, while you attack your opponent, without any creatures on their side.

The decent amount of filthy, annoying bouncers supports this theme and steadily worsens the opponent's situation.

One sweet little combo is Git Probe + Portent on your opponent, usually giving you full information {about the next 3 draws} or {for the rest of the game}. This deck is generally very good at punishing land-light draws anyways, but this might be a winning play for just one mana and two cards, which replace themselves, in the right situation, since you can make your opponent draw the one land you see with Portent as late as possible, giving you time to make your Lapses come online.

I need to splash green and white to be somewhat effective, resulting in many, many tapped dual lands/tapped fetches. While fixing, shuffling and gaining life off of them is good in control, sequencing correctly becomes key.
