Deck Description

Don't you just love explosive starts?
Don't you just love drawing 10 cards in 1 turn?
Don't you just love spending exactly 100% of your mana every turn?
Don't you just love decks that theoretically can win on turn 1?
Don't you just love the look on your opponents face when you Game 1 Turn 1 Dark Ritual into Entombing a Gravecrawler?
Don't you just love zombies?

Well this deck beautifully encapsulates all of these gameplay experiences!

How to Play

The core of the deck is without a doubt {Gravecrawler}; 4 additional {Entomb} serve as a 1 mana tutor for it. Without 0 mana trickery, it is the most efficient persistently recyclable zombie in Magic, followed by {Dread Wanderer} (both in terms of CMC and recursion cost), which is here as a one-of and a backup.

Classic sacrifice outlets include {Carrion Feeder} and {Goblin Bombardment}, but {Village Rites} and {Diabolic Intent} have proven to be invaluable, as this deck has to reach some form of "critical mass". {Undead Augur} is an auto-include and turns village rites into draw 3 for 2 mana, essentially. {Faithless Looting} is a great mana sink and consistency tool in the early game and especially strong when you hit your {Gravecrawler} copies.

{Wayward Servant} brings reach to the table and is part of an infinite combo including it, {Gravecrawler}, of course, {Carnival of Souls} and some form of repeatable sacrifice outlet (either a permanent or a chain of spells).

{Dark Ritual} and {Culling the Weak} make this deck kind of broken. Sometimes the acceleration actually gets back the lost card advantage either right away or the next turn. They are even a welcome sight when you're going off drawing cards with both {Undead Augur} and {Carrion Feeder} or {Goblin Bombardment} (and {Gravecrawler}, of course), making them into a 1 mana pay 3 life, draw 3 cards.

To round out the deck a litte, we have {Cabal Therapy} and {Bone Shards} as sacrifice based interaction, and a sideboard obviously fully dedicated to interaction.
