Aggro and some strategy.
Deathtouch creatures get the arrows for removal. The sacrifices from the demons and the torment either chip away at permanents or life while slowly building advantage. Discards like flow and duress can help throw a wrench in any plans your opponent may have. Bog keeps creatures and other cards from coming back from the graveyard. Some life gain built in for survivabilty and the mires are there in case of removal or burn.
