It is a good card, but the strive won't come in handy too often, since there only needs to be one Sage for the combo, and for the card slot, I'd prefer a permanent +1/+1 source.

I would replace the Spidersilk Net with Darksteel Relic, since it's harder to remove.

pretty well! The Pariah/ indestructibility combo's very fun.
I'd also recommend sideboarding a Bad Moon.
if you want a little extra boost, Lord of the Undead is great.
Zombie Trailblazer.
Maybe a Grimgrin, Corpse-Born or a Rooftop Storm.
Could use a warren instigator.
I'd say the spike jesters or hell's thunder.
Incinerate instead of lightning strike, and four Goblin Guides.
Heartstone might help.
