I got my hands on a complete set of the 2015 commander decks. The original Decklist can be found under "Plunder the Graves":http://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/feature/commander-2015-edition-decklists-2015-11-06After a few testgames I wanted to get rid of cards I didn't really like in here. Here are the changes and what' it has become.Removed:Blood Bairn ...When sacrificing creatures personally I want a more permanent effect, like +1/+1 counters. Cloudthresher ...The effect is good but I rather wanted a -X/-X mass-removal instead of this one. Great Oak Guardian ...Will add the green lieutenant from commander 2013 instead. Satyr Wafinder ...I'm a little torn about this one (as well as Mulch and Grisly Salvage). On the one hand this deck consists of enough creatures so that the chances of loosing non-important cards is rather low. On the other hand all artifacts, sorcerys or instants are important. So for now I will remove these spells. Verdant Force ...A good creature but the token production is way to slow for my likings. Rise from the Grayes ...Wall of Blossoms ...There are better (creature based) carddraw spells. Grisly Salvage ...See Satyr WafinderMulch ...See Satyr WafinderGolgari SignetAdded cards:Moonlight Bargain ...a cost-intensive variant to Mulch/ Grisly Salvage but I want to give it a try. Sepulchral Primordial ...simply because this deck CAN ;)Crypt Incursion ...Graveyard hate that provides a little lifegain. Golgari Grave-Troll ...potential lethal creature after a board-swipe. Grim Flowering ...Strong carddrawBlood Host ...sacrifice outlet and lifegain.Panharmonicon ...Copy triggered ability of e.g. your commander. Swiftfoot Boots ...To protect key creatures like your commander. Bone Splinters ...Cheap removal. Removed a single Swamp for this card. Blade of Selves ...Meren profits from every creature dying. The blade can be equipped on cheap creatures that multiply per opponent. If they survive the combat they still can be sacrificed into something. I first want to give the current state of the deck some try's but also I'm looking/ thinking about the following cards:Strionic Resonator, Thunderfoot Baloth, Demon of Wailing AgoniesI own most of the cards of this deck, and use the rest as proxis, and have played it on some (few) occasions. I#m open to all suggestions that will help to further improve this deck.
At the beginning of your end step, choose target creature card in your graveyard. If that card's converted mana cost is less than or equal to the number of experience counters you have, return it to the battlefield. Basically you want some cards to sacrifice your own creatures into and many cards that give you tokens or have ETB/ LTB effects to get the most out of those sacrifice effects.
