Basic Idea:A friend of mine wanted to join us on one of our game-days and, after reading a little big about the colours, decided to play a green or white deck. So here is my take on a beginner friendly, simple, deck. What is white really good at? Small creatures, survival and control via exile of course!Cardpool:To keep this deck simple I decided to stay modern-legal even if this would only be played at the kitchen table. Lands are limited to Commons and Uncommon', no Rare's or Mythic's. Other cards are limited to Common's, Uncommon's and 1 Rare (max 4 times) per deck, no Mythic's.Mass-strengthening-effects (+x/+x to all creatures) and too many spells with multiple effects should also be avoided.Budget:The overall budget for the beginner's decks should be between 14 to 16$. (Mid value).Mechanics in this you'll have to explain:Flying, Discard, Destroy, Tokens, Flashback, Lifelink, Deathtouch, Populate, indestructible, VigilanceTests:At the moment this deck exists only on this site and has never been played against another deck. Regardless I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to further improve this deck.
With a high number of "prevent damage" spells this deck should survive long enough until Aerial Responder or Herald of War comes on the battlefield and start to finish your opponent. Bring to Trial manages all big threats while Oblivion Ring can be used to remove anything, from small creatures to enchantments.
