Deck Description

While looking for ideas for my pauper boros control deck I stumbled upon this article on
I liked the basic bounce-idea (without the monarch, which isn't modern legal) but wanted to see if it was possible to do it mono-white.

Like many players I first looked into magic with Eight Edition/ Mirrodin tough I didn't start to seriously play and collect until Innistrad. My cardpool is limited and ,though I did discover many new cards from blocks I didn't even know, my focus lies on modern legality. Thus modern-legal cards only where used to build this deck, though it doesn't mean I'm not open to other suggestions.

For our local playgroup we decided to use the pauper ban-list and each card that is available as common in a modern-legal pauper deck. For example the Mirrodin artefact lands are legal while Rancor and Cranial Plating aren't.

This deck exists only on this site and has never been played against another deck. Regardless I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.

How to Play

Glint Hawk and Kor Skyfisher are the main protagonists in this deck. Kor Skyfisher can bounce anything, Glint Hawk only artifacts, back to your hand tu re-use ETB effects. Your main target for this will be Alchemist's Vial and Prophetic Prism which provide you with additional carddraw. Journey to Nowhere can also be bounced if you feel that the creature you targeted first now isn't so dangerous any more.
Thraben Inspector provides you with a cheap artifact to be bounced by Glint Hawk when noting else is available. Suture Priest is always happy about entering creatures either to increase your life or to damage your opponent.
Sunlance and Journey to Nowhere are the main removals of the deck while Cloudshift and Dawn Charm provide some protection. Cloudshift also enables you to do some neat combat tricks with Glint Hawk or Kor Skyfisher.
