Legality:Standard, built with cards from the block: Shadows over Innistrad (Shadows over Innistrad, Eldritch Moon)Idea:I already had a version of this deck in U/R (http://www.mtgvault.com/muktol/decks/ru-standard-sorcery-instant/) but I wanted to see if it also would work in U/B. The mana-curve is a little bit higher than the original list and there are fewer creatures in the deck as I simply couldn't find a good replacement in black for Bedlam Reveler and Mercurial GeistsI decided to go with "Rancid Rats" to get another blocker and deathtouch is always something that scares your opponents. The non-creature spell side was pretty much the same. Broken Concentration and Turn Aside to counter my opponents spells, Murder (instead of Galvanic Bombardment) and Murderous Compulsion (instead of Lightning Axe) to remove anything that might make it trough. Pieces of the Puzzle to get those spells into my hand and Take Inventory to get creatures out of the deck. Rise from the Tides was kept as additional finisher. Price before adding special lands: ~17$ (2016-09-05; Mid Value)Tests:This deck exists only on this site and has never been played against another deck. Regardless I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.
Keep yourself alive with counterspells and removals until "Curious Homunculus" or "Docent of Perfection" hits the board. "Curious Homunculus" needs to get transformed to posses a threat to your opponent, but he can help to play non-creature spells faster untransformed. Finish your opponent with those two creatures or with a zombie army from "Rise from the Tides".
